Painting for Purpose
“Painting for Purpose” is a concept developed by Véronique merging her passion for painting with her need to contribute to society.
"Albinism : see us" is a portrait project focusing specifically on South African women living with albinism
The purpose of this project is to unmask the hidden face of stigma and stereotype around people with albinism; and to raise awareness around the issues they face on a day to day basis in our society.
A body of work is being created towards an exhibition - many of the works have been entered into various international portrait competition four of the works are awarc winning
Her medium for this project is mostly oil on aluminium and her portraits for the Vanilla Chicks series are large - 750 x 1050 mm.
